Meeri Sild brought together many of us through her spirit, professionalism, and wide-ranging interests. She connected people from education and schools, the IT sector, the crafting community through her passion for crochet, travel enthusiasts through her travel stories, and countless teachers and learners as the author of educational textbooks, among many other contributions.
The Meeri Sild Memorial Education Conference will take place on 5 September 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00, at Tallinn Teachers’ House.
The conference is organised by Kati Bakradze-Pank, Merike Saar, and Ingrid Maadvere.
The event is held in cooperation with the Tallinn Education Department, the Estonian Association of Teachers of English (EATE), the Tallinn Association of English Teachers, the eTwinning programme, the Estonian Association of Educational Technologists, the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Tallinn Lilleküla Upper Secondary School, the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn, and Maris Sild.
